The Better Way to Do Money (part 6)

When you have money stress, that takes up a huge part of your mental capacity.
Think of it like this - you have a client call today, but 5 minutes before you start, you remember you forgot to send several invoices last week so now the money isn’t in your account but bills are due soon.
How would that change how you energetically show up to the call with your client? Because I can tell you, I would have a hard time being able to hold space for my clients when I’m internally panicking.
Having this stress permanently off your shoulders allows you to hold all the space your clients and business needs, and when you are able to do that, your clients feel fully supported during every phase of working with you.
3. Your confidence in yourself and your business will grow because you’re seeing concrete evidence of your business’s financial stability.
It’s not just something you’re doing for income for now, you can build your life around it.
You stop waiting until ‘one day’ - the story you tell yourself for when you can do and have all the things you want because you’re waiting for money to be perfect. Instead it becomes ‘some day’.
And it starts with taking care of your finances first.

In 2020, I was a teacher living paycheck to paycheck.
My partner was recovering from a motorcycle accident, so every bill, vet visit, and grocery run fell on me.

When life hit (aka unexpected bills and emergencies) I didn’t panic.
I adjusted, reassigned, and kept going.
And the result wasn’t just money in the bank. It was peace in my brain.
Peace that when my son was born and I had an almost entirely unpaid maternity leave, I didn’t have to worry about how the rent would be paid or how I could afford to take off 3 months without a paycheck.
I remember laying in bed on bed rest, just totally at ease instead of panicking about money during an extremely vulnerable time of my life - and I just can’t put into words how much being financially secure meant to me during this time.
That kind of safety? You can’t quantify it.
I was always capable of making money. I just hadn’t been managing it well enough.
Once I fixed that, everything changed.
The Together System did that for me.
